In the teen and adult class, the elements of the Canadian System of Jiu-Jitsu are explored. Striking, Blocking, Throws and Takedowns, Joint Locks, Restraints and Ground Defense.
Students also experience the many benefits of training in Jiu-Jitsu such as;

PRE-HEET
3-4 Year Olds
Saturday Morning at 9 am
This program is designed to provide age-specific skills for children between the ages of 3 and 4 years old.
This program will introduce early skills training to the pre-school age group, who have a very limited physical, intellectual, emotional and social abilities.
That being said, the emphasis is placed on building early fundamental skills training with a specific balance of Martial Arts.

Raw HEET
5-6 Year Olds
Saturday Morning at 11 am
The goal for this program is to establish skills that are significant for a typical 5-6 year old child.
Children who participate in this program demonstrate a higher level of learning retention than in most traditional martial arts programs. This is because of the age-specific nature of this program.
Children between the ages of 5 -6 years old have a limited attention span but are smart enough to learn in a “fun atmosphere” where they are encouraged to develop their skills.
This is a great program, which offer balance between fun and disciplined learning.

Pure HEET
7-9 Year Olds
Tuesday and Thursday at 5:00 PM
The goal for this program is to establish skills that are significant for a typical 7-9 year old child.
Children who participate in this program demonstrate a higher level of learning retention than in most traditional martial arts programs. This is because of the age-specific nature of this program.
Children in this class are also exposed to the our Hiscoe Evade and Escape Tactics. These are skills taught to help kids be safe from adult predators.

Extreme HEET
10-13 Year Olds
Monday and Wednesday at 5 PM
The goal for this program is to establish skills that are significant for a typical 10-13 year old child.
Students who graduate from this program are considered competent in the skills featured and qualify to move to the Junior Black Belt rank.
The competencies in this program are taking into account many aspects of jiu-jitsu and self-defense training.
This is a challenging program for pre-teens and teens but with focus and attention is completely attainable. This is a great program, which offer balance between fun and disciplined learning.
